You can of course run events whenever you want, but there's a major event in NY this weekend that might lower your attendance.

Damn! I checked the calendar on the site here and didn't see anything that weekend... Shame... It's already scheduled at any rate. I'll have to check more carefully next time.

Thanks for the heads up though

I dont know if I'll have the time / will be going to New York or not, but I live very close to Pandemonium and would be extremely interested in regular, low-key events like this - I hope you're planning on something regular - Good Luck getting it off the ground!

I am planning to make this a regular thing, and keep it low-cost. Myriad and Scholars seem to be doing a good job with the higher-priced events, but I wanted to make this as low a barrier to entry as possible, especially for people who have difficulty travelling out of the city regularly to go there.

I've been considering perhaps monthly or bi-monthly. Could be anything though, it really depends on the turnout. If I get less than 8-12 I'll probably wait til March for the next one, otherwise it'll be sooner.

I really wish we could get small weekly events going at Pandemonium as it's easy to get to for a lot of players in the city. In addition a lot of people don't have the time to commute to other events whereas spending a few hours once a week in town would be more viable.

For what it's worth I appreciate your effort but the event in NY will kill the attendance for this ~10 players I know in the city are making the drive; I assume more will be making the trip. I hope you don't let this factor into whether you will hold more events or not.

I'm glad to hear the support. I'll hold another regardless, just a matter of timing really. I know there used to be weekly things and pandemonium but people stopped showing up and so it died. I hope to get it started again Smile

I for one would be pumped to see regular vintage events at pandemonium.  Like brassman I live very close by and its difficult for me to get to scholars/myriad for regular events so something more local would be great.

I should be in attendance for this one as well.  Looking forward to it.

I (Clark) and my roomate (the famous John Longo) will be there.

I think we'll get a decent turnout.  I'd be happy with over 10 people haha.  Gotta start somewhere....

This event was a great success! We had 10 people show up, which was a few more than I expected. We had a few mixups with the pairings, but some good lessons learned in organizing tournaments.

I'll be hosting another event next month, and I'll post the date soon.

This was certainly a fun day.  As is typical of my luck I went 1 - 2 but had some fun and found some ways to improve my deck so I look forward to the next one of these.  And hope this can become a regular occurrence
