While this increases the mana cost of a critter, it also means that Gaddock Teeg, Qasali Pridemage, Tarmogoyf, etc all cost the same uniform and occupy the same slot in your deck.  While this is no Tinker, it's much more Vintage playable than Natural Order.

I strongly suspect that some sort of BWG or UWG Fish variant can take advantage of this.  Thoughts?
