The Packers had to face the over-hyped Eagles who got in b/c the NFC South collapsed this year...

Um, last I checked, the Eagles won their division, and it was a legit division win unlike the Seabirds winning the NFC West. The NFC South was also pretty strong this year.

I'm about as die-hard as Eagles fans get, and I agree the Eagles were over-hyped, primarily because of their lousy defense. That's why Sean McDermott was fired. Mike Vick is the real deal, provided he's not running for his life due to the lousy offensive line. Fix both of them (which won't be easy and might take a year or two), and the Eagles will be fine.

I still think the Super Bowl's going to be a shootout with the Packers winning.

Good game!  I especially liked when the Packers tinkered up Inkwell Leviathan - er, ran an interception back for a touchdown - in the first quarter!

Well, Packers win... guess the game was closer than people anticipated, huh.

The Jets held the Packers to 9 points.  What do you think the Steelers, with Troy P, are gonna do?

Like I said, I'm no Steelers fan, but the Packers fans here live in fantasy land.   Packers are gonna get thumped.

THUMPED!!!!!!!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yup -- I was definitely wrong.  But think about this: The Steelers had FOUR turnovers to the Packers 0, and it was a close game until the final minute.

If Rogers had thrown a single solitary pick Steelers win this game.  If the Steelers had one less turnover, Steelers win this game.   Packers didn't win this game; Steelers lost it.

That's football.  Rodgers doesn't throw many picks.  That's why guys like him and Brady are successful.  This game would've been a complete route if the Packers receivers didn't drop 2 touchdowns and about a 100 yards worth of receptions that hit them in the hands.

The Packers looked like the better team on both sides of the ball.

Except that they have zero run game, and were dominated in time of possession.   When a team has a turnover advantage of 4 to 0 and still barely wins, that's hardly a persuasive argument on how much better than Packers were.

We won in the most typical way.  Good defense and we didnt turn the ball over.  What else do you need to do?  Also the turnovers were 3-0 against the Steelers.  Nobody cares about running the ball.

Why run into the strength of their defense?  They don't give you a different trophy for getting to 100 rushing yards.

You add one of the two dropped tds not only does it not look like a game anymore but Rodgers looks like he manhandles the defense on the state sheet with an extra 40 yards and 4 tds

that cuts both ways.  There were a couple of throws that could have connected for touchdowns for the steelers.

Yeah the two most important categories.

They couldn't win with Charles Woodson, Sam Shields, and Donald Driver leaving the game with injuries.

I cant wait for next season when we get 13 players back from IR and the rest of the league has to deal with this team full strength.

Largest super bowl deficit overcome leading to a win was exactly 10 points. The packers certainly achieved that lead greater than 10 points pretty quickly, seemed like a good sign to me (the other team needs to do something no team has ever done in super bowl history to beat you). It didn’t seem like a close game until the end after some injuries of solid players on the packer’s side.

The Packers were also the only team since the 60's to never trail a game by more then 7 points all season.
