Building my first EDH deck. Mono-Green Verdeloth the Ancient.

I just began playing MTG about three weeks ago and played with a few friends EDH decks and had a blast, so Im trying to builf a mono green EDH deck where I can almost at will create the needed mana while at the same time being able to get creatures that will do some damage out there.
