"Edric is strong"! Yes, the card is very powerful. But the power level of Dark Confidant is still higher when it comes to generating card advantage. Both are viable and strong in my opinion. I explored BANT Fish for more than a month now on an intensive scale. For those who log in regularly on Cockatrice, they know, because they saw me testing for hours/day. I want to further explore Phantasmal Image now with different colours without really losing power. I cut green for black and this means a couple of things:
- You lose your acceleration with ESG and Noble
- Your draw changes, Edric is replaced by Dark Confidant
- Leonin Relic Arbiter will now play the role of Qasali Pridemage
- You lose exalted
- You gain tutors
