Is Modern a format eternal enough for TMD?

I quite enjoy it, as the current banned list forces new deckbuilding (or strengthening older decks without the crutch of Top/Jace2.0/most artifact lands, etc.)

TMD is all about Vintage, and I love this site, but are TMDrs going to play Modern at their local shops/online?

Would Modern be a format TMD'rs would be willing to post about?

I realize this topic could be under discussion in Moderators lounge, but I really appreciate the feedback (and moderation) of this site and would support a modern forum here.

Full Disclosure: My legacy decks are limited because I have a collection that allows for 10 proxies (and legacy ain't proxy), but Modern ain't proxy, but it has plenty of stuff I have (Bobs, Zendikar fetchlands, etc). so I can participate in competitive Modern.

I'm looking forward to it.

My approach to Legacy for the last few years has been so budget oriented that I already have things like Modern Zoo pretty much 95% built.  Also have some older Type 2 decks that I rocked for a minute like Mirrorweave Kithkin and Exalted Bant, even if they aren't Tier 1 decks they are at least legal, heh (the Bant one doesn't even have proper dual lands, it's got like Yavimaya Coasts and shit - thank Jebus for Rhox War Monk).

Honestly, I'd like a forum for it. I'm pretty stoked to play some events and peep some sweet TMD tech on how to beat pyromancer's ascension with gifts.
