The details: WHAT: VINTAGE! TournamentSwiss + Top 8. Entry is $20 PRIZES:CASH! 1st Place: 40% of Prize Pool 2nd Place: 20% of Prize Pool 3rd Place: 10% of Prize Pool 4th Place: 10% of Prize Pool 5th-8th: 5% of prize pool each Prize Pool will be 80% of entry fees! As long as there are 24 or more players, there will be a FREE single elimination side event will begin with X-1 round of swiss with a grand prize of $40 (which will come from the main prize pool). WHERE:The Soldiery 4256 N. High St. Columbus, Ohio 43214 If you need to car pool to Columbus, post your needs and we'll find someone whom you can travel with. I'll start a signup if necessary. PROXIES: UNLIMITED PROXIES will be permitted.There are THREE ways of making proxies: 1) The first and most basic is taking a basic land card and writing the details of the card on it. 2) The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that is being proxied and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics. If you do this, every card must be proxied. The first two methods are preferred. WHEN: Sunday, January 8, 2012The store opens at 11:30 AM. Registration starts at 12:30. These events are awesome for potential new players: 1) You don't need a lot of Vintage cards. Just proxy everything. 2) The competition is mostly terrible at Magic. 3) The competition is mostly willing to joke around with self-deprecating humor. 4) You can go to Thurman's afterward. |

Oh man, I cannot wait to see some sick new Demarsian technology. So far from C-town we have Snoop Trogg, Yangtime, Prkchpsndwiches, Lawnboy, Gee Money, and myself making the jump to hyperspace. -Will Team Serious sweep the top 8 harder than a stock boy cleaning up spilled cereal in isle 9? -Will Yangspliff make the streets bleed by blasting MGK and Wacka Flocka? -Will The Dark Sith Lord himself, Stephen Q. Menedian cut off Twaun007's hand and proclaim that he is his father? -Will this be the last Meandeck tourney series due to the Mayan calender predicting a shitstorm in human consciousness?
