First of all, let me say thank you to the 44 players who came out and battled December 3rd, and to the over 140 players who played at Blue Bell Game Days in 2011 (now if only I could get half of you to show up every time, 70+ man monthly tournaments?  We'll see what 2012 brings).  It has been a lot of fun being the one running these events, through the huge events and the small events, I thank all of you for making the past two years of Blue Bell Game Days possible.  Congratulations to Josh Potucek for winning the Blue Bell Player of the Year for 2011.  He has earned the right to play for free at my events in 2012, which will now be taking place at my new store, Top Deck Games in Westmont, NJ as a part of the Northeast Vintage Series.  A huge thanks to Mike Coyle, Chas Hinkle, Nicola DiPasquale, and Abe Corson, whose efforts have all made these tournaments what they are (which is awesome).

SIX DREDGE DECKS!!!....the MOST PLAYED DECK.....and none made top 8....someone restrict something from it quick!

Joking aside, I think this just goes to show that with proper testing, sideboard prep, and game planining people can keep this deck in check. I mean the deck does have a bit of variance to it as well which also keeps it in check at times.

This tournament also illustrates just how diverse the metagame has become for Vintage, which is an awesome thing.

Congratz on Elias crushing his way to the top.

This was a fantastic tourney, thanks again Nick.
I remember playing against Visna before the re-pair - he had played Ancestral and Snapcaster, flashing back Ancestral. He then played Ritual or something and I said "SNOB Tendrils?" I recieved the weirdest look I've seen in a while from anybody.
I now see the error of my ways. That is a nutty pile. Loving it.

You ain't kidding.

Thanks again to Nick and to AU for this event, I can't think of a better way to close out my POTY and the Blue Bell Vintage series than by taking it down.

3 Decks, 1 Box:
Hard Deck to play and will take time to master, so many combo’s.
By the finals, my mind was Mindshrieked.
**Received the weirdest look…Come on, it wasn’t that bad.

Vintage Mindshrieking is Priceless:
Imperial Seal, Vampiric or Mystical Tutor for Jin-Gitaxias…3 mana spent..11/11 flying. Cast Animate Dead on Jin or Dragon, smile at opponent  Smile
If opponent cast’s Imperial Seal, Vampiric or Mystical Tutor, 2 mana spent, that card goes bye bye.
Vs. Shops:
Let’s just say, the bird gets Pumped.

Need i say more ?
