Big thanks goes out to all that made the trek down here to The Players Guild in Bloomsburg, PA to play some vintage magic. Great to see some new faces, along with all the faithful vintage players. Top 4 were awarded for this event. 1st was an Unlimited Mox Pearl, 2nd was $50 in credit, 3rd and 4th was $25 in credit, Top 4 decided to split for $100 each in credit. Justin Kohler played two decks? Or did two Justin Kohler's play? Who is the second Justin Kohler?  Smile

Also, 2 quarter finalists and 4 semi finalists seems weird...

Missing cards:
- Justin Kohler (1) 61 cards MD, 14 cards SB
- Anthony Scalzo 56 cards MD

A painter deck with Null Rod? Does it runs its own repeals/ hurkyl's to bounce its rods?

It was Matt Gotshall, not David Reitnauer who piloted Stax in the Top 8

I saw this deck being played next to me during my round 1 matchup and noticed that he ran Goblin Welders.

Makes sense, just a little odd to see a Pinter deck under the Rod Pillar. Do we know where the deck fell in the standings? Obviously not top 8 but if it was higherish it would be an interesting list I am sure

Highlight of the day here. The Landstill mirror in top 8, game one, Bill vs Ryan. Bill has a BSC in play but only 3 cards left in his library. During his upkeep Ryan casts AR, and this is the stack that followed...

Thank you Keith, Justin, and Justin.

It might have only been 17 people, but I still had to beat 6 different decks on my way to victory (Oath, Landstill, Empty Gush, Aggro Shops, Bomberman, Mid-range Bant). I love how varied Vintage is right now!

There is good variance, too bad I play Stax all day long.  Even though it went well, I would prefer not play against that deck even with a like 80-20 favored deck.

This looks like the perfect field for goblins (surely a sign that the meta is progressing in the right direction).  Where's James Lee when you need him?!?!
