Apparently there's a Vintage tournament planned for December 1st here in the Twin Cities.  You can check it out if you follow the 'events' link.

Cost is $15. Start time is 1pm. Prizes will include Mana Drain, Dual lands, and possibly a power nine card if enough there are enough players. Other prizes may be given out depending on number of players.

Rumor has it that Monster Den/Dreamers puts on one vintage event per year.  I'm not sure how many proxies will be allowed (guessing 15).

Personally, I'm hoping for unlimited proxies.  If so, I'll attend my first tourny in about 4 years  Smile  ...and bring at least 3 friends with me.

A quick update on this; There will be an unlimited number of proxies allowed!

Good news for Minnesota.  Hopefully there will be a good turn out of competitive decks.

Cool.  The more, the merrier.

It's definitely unlimited proxies.  Here's an excerpt from Jason, the store owner and lvl 3 judge whose been hosting tournaments since 95':

It is unlimited proxies. The cards must be written on, no pieces of paper as the paper can come out of the sleeve.  I am not sure what the turnout will be since we don't do these very often, but I would expect somewhere between 12 and 25.

Also, there is no fee for the proxies.

There you have it.  If you're going to be in MN on the first of December, attend!
