Here's the info:

What:

Comic Book Depot Vintage Credit Tournament
$10, 15 proxy, non-sanctioned Vintage tournament

Prize Structure:

1st: $60 credit (at 8 entrants)
2nd: $20 credit (at 8 entrants)

An additional $10 in credit will be added for every additional entry fee.  Depot has a wide variety of Vintage, Legacy, Modern and Standard singles on hand, so it's a solid prize.

Where:

The Comicbook Depot
2847 Jerusalem Avenue
Wantagh, NY 11793-2016
(516) 221-9337

When:

Sunday, March 10th
11 am registration, 12 pm start

Depot has a great collection of Vintage and Legacy staples.  Depot has been buying collections in the last few weeks, so this selection is only going to increase as the weeks go by!

Pre-registration isn't necessary for the smaller credit tournaments, so no need to PM me about signing up.

There's something bigger going on that day as well:

What:

June Depot Vintage Qualifier

$13, single elimination, eight man Vintage tournament.

Prize Support:

1st - Free entry to the June 15th Depot Power Eight Vintage Tournament
2nd - A playset of something terrible, signed by me!

For more information on this event, check here:

I hope to see you all that Sunday!

So, with less than a week left before this event, and with an N.Y.S.E. Open qualifier being run on the same day, I'm wondering - who's showing up?

I've had a fair number of questions about the scheduling of the qualifier.  I had figured that we'd run this event with the qualifier as an eight man that ran after the main event had mostly finished up.  In lieu of that, I'm going to fold the two events into one, so long as the attendance is there for the event.

I'll have to talk to Alan, but any entries past the eighth should guarantee an amount in credit equal (or very nearly equal) to whatever's received in cash.  We'll do a breakdown between first and second.

See you all on Sunday!

Congratulations to Greg Fenton, who won the event with 'Wood Elemental's "I Can't Believe I Ate the Whole Thing" Oath' (Night's Whisper/Griselbrand Oath).  Greg has won free entry to the N.Y.S.E. Open in June!
