If my opponent had Cavern of Souls, can I tap Fellwar Stone for any color mana?

gatherer has an entry for that question:

Fellwar Stone

Fellwar Stone doesn't care about any restrictions or riders your opponents' lands (such as Ancient Ziggurat or Hall of the Bandit Lord) put on the mana they produce. It just cares about colors of mana.

Yeah I saw that, that's why I was asking since Cavern has slightly different wording.  Thanks for verification!

Does that mean that if an opponent controls Reflecting Pool (but no other colored mana producing lands), that the Stone can be tapped for any color?

Sidenote: I always found the wording on Reflecting Pool weird, and think it could be rules lawyered to say that it can always tap for any color, since it does not specify other lands you control. I know gatherer restricts this, but it's interesting nonetheless, since it itself could produce any color (under certain conditions).

Felwar Stone would be able to produce the colors of mana that your opponent's lands could produce which is the exact same thing that Reflective Pool does on your opponent's side of the board.

Edit: Misread. You would not be able to produce any mana off Felwar Stone.

"Why are we making bad decks? I mean, honestly, what is our reason for doing this?"

"Is this a Vintage deck or a Cube deck?" "Is it sad that you have to ask?"

"Is that a draft deck?" "Why do people keep asking that?"

Random conversations...

Considering gatherer states multiple Reflecting Pools won't enable those pools to produce any mana and the effect of Fellwar Stone and Reflecting Pool being pretty much identical (swapping out "you" for "an opponent" and "type" for "color") I would argue that with only a Reflecting Pool on the opponents side you couldn't tap Fellwar Stone for mana.
