Dredge Card Possibility

Someone pointed out to me the other day that instead of fighting hate games 2 and 3 that beating with dudes is probably a better idea, since opponents generally dig for their hate cards.
A card that was brought up to me was Varolz, the Scar Stripped:
1GB Legendary 2/2 with the following abilities:
Creatures in your graveyard have Scavenge. It's Scavenge cost is equal to its mana cost.
Sacrifice another creature: Regenerate Varolz.
I think Varolz can possibly see play due to his cost of only 3 and his ability to turn Narcomoebas into a +1/+1 counter for 1U, same goes for any other creature, but Narcomoebas generally have little to no use once they are in the grave. This strategy will help battle through graveyard hate and I think it is very viable and I'd like everyone to think about this card and post any thoughts, either agreeing or disagreeing, with my statement.

You know, or you could us it and lol troll and Deaths shadow and vengevines and such.

Pretty sure its already a deck in legacy, not sure it is strong enough for vintage, it relies on the yard too much to not be dredge.

I wasn't referring to playing all these other dudes, just the idea of having Varolz in the board since he doesn't "rely" on the graveyard, but him with Death's Shadow is pretty cute! I was thinking Boneyard Wurm but that relies on the grave so that defeats the purpose.
