I been playing this online card game called Confrontation for a few months now and am really enjoying it.  Its a lot like magic the gathering, except instead of Mana/Lands, the cards wait X turns before being cast on their own.  I think many of you out there would like the game, so I figured I would post it here so people could try it out.  Enjoy, and if you have any questions about it feel free to PM me on here or on Facebook.

Just wondering who, or how many of you guys have tried this game out and our opinions on it?  I know some of you have because my numbers have went up, but it don't tell me exactly how many.  Thanks!

Feel free to discuss this game here.

Here's the link for those who want to try:

I was wondering if Warstorm was ever going to come back (http://warstorm.wikia.com/wiki/Warstorm.com).  I was playing Warstorm for about a year before it was purchased by Zynga, migrated to Facebook (without allowing for you to transfer all of your collection to Facebook), and then promptly axed.  I am glad this type of auto-play game still exists.  The user interface is a little more complex than the Warstorm interface, so it is taking me a little more time to understand all of the factions, currency, and job titles (infantry, cavalry, pikers, etc).

I like the game and it is a pretty good at consuming time, but I have only just started getting into this game.

Basic opinion of the game is the games are dictated almost completely on luck and rare/powerful cards.  This opinion will likely change as I unlock more cards and start to play with all the different factions.

I have checked on multiple online and facebook pages, and no it seems this game is the new and improved Warstorm.  Warstorm as far as I know and can tell will not be coming back, and I unfortunately did not get the chance to play it.

As far as luck goes, yes there is luck, but a lot has to do with how you build your decks, and as you get more cards that effect others you will see this, and adjust accordingly to the "meta" which there surely is one already.

If you ever have any questions or tips or ideas or want some for certain decks/tourneys, feel free to msg me on here, or facebook, John Knight, Ada, Ohio.

I lost a lot of faith in Facebook games - maybe I just bet on losing horses, but god dammit if the last 3 - 4 games I sunk time (or in one instance, money) into didn't end up being abandoned or shut down in favor of putatively "bigger/better" projects.

Qunify burned me pretty good with Clash: Rise of Heroes.  There was a sweet spot in there where things felt pretty balanced and even, but that tipped over and things just favored people that either played extensively or paid a lot more than I was willing to.  Then they shut the game down to push some newer card game which I tried and kind of enjoyed, but ultimately found it to be a derivative if flashier version of their previous effort, and with little faith in their ability to keep a project relevant (or for that matter, online), I deleted it.

I pretty much just play Scrabble on FB now.  I don't cheat or use anagram solvers to win the day.  And I'm an okay player.

Anyway, if any of the games you've suggested don't look like they are going anywhere anytime soon, I'll try them out.
