I'm trying to update to Gatecrash.

I'm using this link here:

http://www.taipow.com/2013/01/21/cockatrice-gatecrash-update-249249/

...which seems to be the only one widely linked to.  My problems are:

(1) When I copy the cards.xml into my cockatrice folder the program no longer runs and I get an error.

(2) If I change the path for my card database to the original download folder then it works, BUT, the database doesn't include Gatecrash.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I had the same issue recently.  I first had to download the new version of cockatrice from http://www.woogerworks.com/.  The links are in the bar on the right side.  Then the new cards.xml worked fine.

I had the same thing happen, replayed the files at the old location. double checked to see if I was messing up the location. Replaced the file. Got a notification telling me the file had been modified on the current date, opened it. checked to see in GTC was in there, it was. ran cockatrice, no GCT.

I saving the file again to my desk top and changing the read location. worked fine.
