Vintage in Austria (Linz)

Hello everybody,
if you come from Austria, you'll probably know that there are more or less no Vintage tournaments in our country (at least not on regular bases).
That's very devastating if you're asking me, so I'm trying to change that.

Therefore I want to introduce my newly created Facebook group for all Austrian Vintage fans: https://www.facebook.com/groups/634963633245265/

The group is called ProxyNine and is open for all interested Vintage players. I live in Linz, Upper Austria and we will most likely arrange our tournaments there, so please only register if you have the possibility to come to Linz!

I would be really glad, if I'd find some new members for our upcoming tournaments over this website!

Hallo Michael,

great to see another Vintage fan from my country.

It is true that there has been a lack of Vintage tournaments in recent years, but in March the first Vintage Proxy tournament in Vienna fired (12 participants) and the next one is scheduled for June. Good to hear you're trying to start something similar in Linz.

While I can't guarantee I will ever make it to a tournament in Linz (I even fail to attend many in Vienna for time reasons), I will try to do so if ever a place in a car from Vienna opens up. I will spread the word among possibly interested players in Vienna for sure, as I'm well known by the eternal players there.

Also, make sure you join the "Eternal Österreich" group on Facebook (if you haven't already), I'm positive you reach a lot of possibly interested players there.

Hope we run into each other one day slinging Power (even though it might be proxied)

for the reason that this is an internationnal board, I'll keep my comments in English, although we could also continue our conversation in German, I guess. *gg*

Thank you very much for telling me about this Facebook group (Eternal Österreich). I didn't know that group until now and just joined it.
Glad to hear that I'm not alone with my love for Vintage.

Yeah, I know that there was a tournament in the MagicCorner in March 2014, but sadly I was unable to participate in that tournament because of some tests I had to pass for my studies.
I'm afraid there will be the exact same situation again in June...

But I will try to participate in a Vintage tournament in the summer or autumn, if there will be one. Also, I would be very happy to see you in Linz some day and thank you for spreading my Facebook group in anticipation!
