This is what I brewed up to battle yesterday and took to the top 4. Love the deck and thanks for reading!

UWR BOMBERMAN
(61 cards)

4 Trinket Mage
3 Auriok Salvagers
1 Senseis Divining Top
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Grafdiggers Cage
1 Pyrite Spellbomb
2 Swords to Plowshares
4 Force of Will
4 Mana Drain
4 Mental Misstep
2 Spell Snare
1 Time Walk
1 Ancestral Recall
2 Dig Through Time
2 Dack Fayden
3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor

4 Flooded Strand
2 Scalding Tran
1 Plains
2 Island
2 Volcanic Island
3 Tundra
2 Cavern of Souls
1 Library of Alexandria

1 Black Lotus
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire

Sideboard
2 Grafdigger’s Cage
1 Pithing Needle
1 Tormods Crypt
1 Containment Priest
2 Red Elemental Blast
1 Engineered Explosives
2 Swords to Plowshares
2 Steel Sabotage
2 Stoneforge Mystic
1 Batterskull

Rd 1 (2-0 win) Bill Sees on UW Stoneforge Landstill
G1 - I stabilize at 1 life and combo off thanks to dig through time getting me cavern and trinket
G2 - I'm sitting on trinket, salvagers and Dack (I believe). Bill puts Batterskull into play with sfm and I steel it and equipped to trinket. He then admits he forgot I could equipped to my creature. My other out was to blow up rip with Explosives into the win

Rd 2 (2-0 win) Vito on Gush Storm
G1 - I have salvagers, top, trinket, and lotus, but no way of getting Spellbomb for a few turns. This opens the door for vito. Oddly enough 2 Spell snares stops Demonic Tutor from resolving and I win via attack phase
G2 - I Mulligan to 5 with a force, dack, pyrite, sapphire, drain...he has turn 1 Tinker which I Force I draw Sol Ring, play pyrite and draw a card. His hand relied on tinker pretty heavily. I find trinket into lotus after drawing salvagers and combo out after a few turns

Rd - 3 (2-1 win) John Geras on terra nova shops
G1- he has a lot of ancient tombs, a null rod, and 3 man lands. His null rod and ancient tombs keep me in the game and I end up Jace Ultimate for the win as he was too low on life to finish me off and null rod shutting pump and moxes off
G2 - I am 1 land short of turning on 3 Swords to Plowshares in my hand to turn the game around
G3 - I have turn 1 Stoneforge into skull with force of Will back up. Also holding needle and another land. I take over this game pretty handily

Rd - 4 ID
Rd - 5 ID

Top 8 (2-0 win) Dempsey (Ringer) on gush storm
G1 - he has early jace, while I have uncounterable salvagers. I find win fairly quick and he loses.
G2 - he starts with 2 Leyline in play. I'm excited because this means he only starts with 5 cards! WOOP WOOP! I land a Jace and salvagers and just out control him. Using salvagers  as a blocker to protect jace

Top 4 (1-2 loss) Matt Murray on dack gush storm
G1 - my hand is salvagers, time walk, Force, drain, ruby, fetch, land. Not stellar but not a mulligan. I draw ee, and land a salvagers. He sits on Library of Alexandria and takes over the game.
G2 - I control the game and land a Jace and counter his threats. He concedes
G3 - This is a back and forth game until turn 4 when he drops Library AGAIN and takes over. I am not able to come back from it Sad

Overall this deck is very strong. The red addition was insane all day and I would play it again like this tmrw. The value of Dack and Red Elemental Blast is just so insane. I only lost 1 game until the top 4. And then Library of Alexandria did what it's supposed to do sadly.

Props for all my cool opponents, a friendly community, and an awesome TO for running the event...

Slops for minor misplays, having gas, and eating onions on my sub...lol

Excellent list and appreciate the write up. Congrats on the top 4!

From my perspective, game 3 was more about clawing my way out from under active Jace twice, which the combination of Library, Gush, and Dig were able to accomplish. Hitting your Lotus was really helpful as it kept you clock predictable.

I really like the deck. What were your experiences with Dig through Time, would it be worth trying to play additional copies, and what were your impressions of Dack vs. Jace?

2 dig felt perfect. I'd actually consider running 1 fact or fiction over the 3rd Jace. But at the same time Jace won me so many games on the day. I'd likely run the same list next time...

The deck in fact has a great gush/gush storm matchup. Game 1 I had a keepable hand but it Flooded out while u sat on Library. And that was the first time on the day I Flooded pretty bad. In game 3 I made a misplay on the turn that I used Tormods and then Explosives. Had in done it in the reverse order you would have had 2 less Mox in grave when you  eventually cast yawg will into tendrils for just enough lethal...although maybe you had alternate lines to victory. Library definitely is when brought you way ahead. Once it was active I knew I was toast :-/

But overall I really loved the deck. The numbers (as I said) felt great and I'd run it again just how it is. I tried 2 salvagers and I always wanted to combo more. I tested 3 dig and it felt like too much. Congrats on smashing me Matt. I'll have to get yout next time! Haha

Strengths are being able to win on the spot in an uncounterable fashion. Landstill has to grind out a win where this deck can play control or combo into a win.

Weaknesses is a tough question because I like this deck more then landstill in general in the current metagame. Landstill can often have close or tough games vs delver decks, whereas this deck it's almost a bye to play vs those decks. I honestly think this deck is better then landstill across the board in matchups...this is the reason why I am not running landstill myself haha

Thanks Keith, it was the reason I beat terra nova in game 2...it's there for shops, delver, and fish to have an alternate win con Wink

I definitely did not see that SFM package coming, and was a great twist to the deck.  Good job and great playing you!

@Josh Potucek: what made you include pyrite spellbomb over aether spellbomb? For so long it has been said to be "win-more". Which I agree. Only difference may be that one hits planeswalkers.
Thoughts?

I wanted it because it's bettee vs delver and wins on the spot when comboing off. Aether bomb, while it draws me infinite cards, just allows me to time walk with a bunch of dudes in play...pyrite just burns my opponent out and I don't have to play cards like clique. If I ran aether, I'd have to run clique so I could infinite sculpt my opponents hand...also like you said pyrite hit's walkers. Aether is nice at bouncing opponents fatties, but I had jaces and dacks for that. So yeah I LOVED pyrite over Aether in this list!

Hmmm, I have been looking for a way to build a bomberman deck for sanctioned Vintage running LED, since I dont own Lotus, and I think pyrite spellbomb works best in a list like yours.
Thank you for your reply and inspiration.
