A first glance at Biorythm the first thoughts that come to mind is this card is too expensive and overpriced for its ability. What if someone decided to design a deck around this card would it be janky or viable? My goal on this thread is to design a deck around this card and make it as viable as possible. Biorythm does have synergy with a number of cards. Here I'll list a few:

 - zero casting cost creatures
 - Gaea's Cradle
 - Collective Unconscious

The first category we have zero casting cost creatures. From then on all the cards listed have synergy with them. Zero casting cost creatures combined with Gaea's Cradle make first turn kills possible with this deck. In conjuntion with Candelabra of Tawnos a first turn kill is very possible, just as long as you play first. Against creature decks it's a bit harder to get a first turn kill especially if they play first. That's not a problem though. I will have 4 Overrun in my sideboard against aggro. The last card mentioned is essential to the deck as a card drawing element. Now I'll take the time to explain my card choices after posting a decklist.

5 Moxen
1 Black Lotus
1 Time Walk
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Timetwister (works well with Moxen and zero casting cost creatures)
1 Sol Ring
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Regrowth
4 Ornithopter (zero casting cost creature)
4 Phyrexian Walker  (zero casting cost creature)
4 Kobolds of Kher Keep (zero casting cost creature)
4 Shield Sphere (zero casting cost wall)
4 Biorythm (kill card)
1 Crop Rotation (fetches Academy or a Gaea's Cradle)
1 Mana Crypt
1 Future Sight (great synergy with zero casting cost creatures and moxen along with Fastbond and Mind's Desire)
1 Fastbond
1 Time Spiral (works the same way as Timetwister)
1 Mana Vault
1 Mind's Desire
3 Candelabra of Tawnos (works wonders with Gaea's Cradle and Tolarian Academy)
2 Collective Unconscious (a great card in conjunction with zero casting cost creatures and a Cradle)
1 Psionic Blast (to take out opposing creature or to your opponent's dome after a Boirythm)
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mox Diamond
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Gaea's Cradle  (essential in order to get a first turn kill)
4 Glimmervoid
4 Tropical Island

Sideboard:
4 Overrun (against aggro)
4 Chill (against Sligh)
4 Xantid Swarm (against control)
3 Hydroblast (against burn)

This deck is untested and hasn't been tweaked to its full potential. It's a raw idea that came strait from my head onto the drawing board. If you think this idea is viable please post comments and deck suggestions.

I think that the problem with this deck is that it is not good vs aggro.  That is the biggest strength of combo, that it autowins vs most aggro (with exceptions) this deck has a weak aggro matchup, and the control matchup dosent look all that good for this deck.

Pretty jankey. Although not totally unviable, this looks more like some sort of Enduring Renewal deck then anything else. This probably belongs in the casual forum, because although a cool deck, there is no reason to play this over any of the other combo decks out there, even if refined. It's just to many cards to put together at once with little draw. Confused sorry

I just thought of this. If I splash red I have two cards that would help me against control and aggro. Overmaster and Lightning Bolt. That may be the first step to making it viable, no?

Also, Red Elemental Blast, if Overmaster doesn't provide enough oomph to overcome Control. It's more expensive, but Arc Lightning can take out several creatures, if you'e going off early and they have more than 1 Jackal Pup on the table.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

Xantid Swarm is a bomb. And so is Deconstruct+Cathodion. It might seem really janky, but in casual terms, it has a shot Smile
Just don't expect to take the power with it.
