PlayOrDraw.com requested some beginner stuff, so here's my first go. Feedback would be supah1337.

I enjoyed the article, Dr. Sylvan. As a relative newbie (and won't I always be?) to Type I, I certainly learned a couple of things.

I'd never really thoroughly counted the number of mana sources Type I decks use and I was surprised to learn that 25 - 30 is rather commonplace.

I also found it particualrly interesting that such a small difference between two decks can induce such large differences in the way the decks play. Coming from casual, decks that differ by only 5 cards (unless those are 4 copies of the deck's centerpiece and 1 other card) are functionally identical.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.
