I have been into the type 1 scen for little over 2yrs now and i was wondering what the status of an old deck i use to play was. Since the broken combo deck like long.Dec, Trix and tendrils started running crazy in the meta R/G became unplayable since it was too slow to compete. Now that the popular decks around are things like Keeper, Sligh, and Landstill i think that something aggro would be a compettive deck in that type of meta.

Creatures/
4 Kird Ape
4 Nimble Mongoose
4 Blurred Mongoose/ River Boa this is a meta choice if your meta is more control then you go with the goose if your meta is more aggro you go with the Boa its basically a meta call.
4 Gorilla Shaman

4 Lightning Bolt
4 Chain Lightning
4 Incinerate
1 Black Vise
1 Regrowth
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
2 Cursed Scroll

Sideboard\
4 Naturalize
4 Red Elemental
2 Pyroblast
2 Blood Moon
3 Energy Flux

Card Choices\
Kird Ape= The ape is probably the biggest beat stick that you have if you drop this on turn one you will easily get the win this is probably the signature creature of zoo.
Mongeese= these 8 creatures are a staple of zoo they get around counters, and stp's, and the abyss.
Gorilla Shaman= This is a staple of zoo as well it slows down all of the powered decks to a level that you could compete and even out play decks like Hulk.
12 Burn Spells= these are basically self explanitory you need at least the 3 major ones 4 Lightning Bolt, 4 Chain Lightning, 4 Incinerate.
The Blue Power Cards= These make your deck better in clutch situations like when you have leathel damage on the board and the dont see the sapphire coming down into the time walk, or if landstill sweeps the board with a disc the ancestral can save you by drawing another creature.
5 Strip Effects= These Just flat out win you games the get the Library, the Factory's, and conclaves in the landstill matchup.
The Sideboard\
the sideboard is again 15 must play cards the naturalize's handle moat, the Red Blasts handle the Counter, the energy fluxes are for the welder mud/ Stax matchup these slow them down considerably, and the Blood Moons are for the hulk matchup if you get one of these bad boys to resolve you have proably one the match you just have to watch out for the cunning wish ReB trick.
