Moved up to D.C. Area; need place to play T1.

I just moved from houston to Alexandria VA, and I was wondering if there's any place to play in the DC area. I'm not worried about the quality of the players or anything, I just want to find something to do during the days when I'm not busy. Anything within 30-40 minutes will do. I would also like to know the local metagame if possible.

You're in my neck of the woods, vintagethug01.  There is an active 1.5 scene in NoVa with both BC Comics in Fairfax Virginia and The Lucky Frog in Annandale Virginia hosting 1.5 weekly tournaments.  For type 1 there are events that occur typically every other month at Dream Wizards in Rockville, Maryland.  There will be a large type 1 event at GP:DC at the capital expo center in Chantilly Virginia sometime in April.  If you want more details shoot me a PM.
