Quote In 2003, however, I feel that even the concept "mana" as broadly discussed doesn't cover everything about tempo. Also around 1997, another writer - the venerable Robert Hahn - also articulated his "time theory," but grounding it in attack phases. He noted how some decks created "windows of opportunity" that led to a couple of crucial extra turns of damage dealing, and the methods ranged from land destruction to bounce and removal.

Oscar,
Nice article overall. However, that part about type 0 is a little dated. We helped that guy out in the unregistered forum (
"improving" Necro Trix), and came up with a stronger deck. Here's a hint: Yawgmoth's Will and Mind's Desire > Necro.

I sent you an email about this too, in case you want to throw that decklist into your next article.

Other than that, a good article as always.

HOW MUCH IS TEH FISH

Anyway, I agree with Jacob on the t0-age, and at least this one was somewhat more interesting then the others. A job well done I suppose.

We had problems with the Star City server again, so I assume the mail was lost. Kindly re-e-mail, your answer is probably better than mine or Carl's considering it's not something we seriously pondered at length.

Sure. Just mail over half a bottle of Johnny Walker then tell me to use it the next time you AIM.

Incidentally, I've been sick, so I haven't replied to your discussion on 'Tog being the new Necrodeck structure. I was going to wonder if it was more of the Enigma though.
