Hello.  I've been scouring TMD for the past two days now and I've seen a lot of post about this PTFunk deck.  After looking into it, I decided that it's just the kind of deck for me and I started up my own decklist for this deck.  Since I've been out of the game for a while (I hope they deleted the post by now), I'm not too confident in my deck building skills again so bear with me.  Since I honestly despise decks with "PT" in the name, I name my version Celtic Funk.

Celtic Funk v1.0
//Critters:
4 River Boa
4 Nantuko Shade
4 Phyrexian Negator
3 Spiritmonger

//Trix:
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Dark Ritual
3 Diabolic Edict
1 Chainer's Edict
2 Naturalize
Yawgmoth's Win
Demonic Tutor
Regrowth
Vampiric Tutor
3 Pernicious Deed

//Land:
4 Bayou
4 Llanowar Wastes
4 Bloodstained Mire
9 Swamp
1 Forest

Now then, things I was pondering as I was writing this up:
  1) Since this looks to be more of an aggro deck where hands are small/absent, could Cursed Scrolls be placed in this deck effectively?  If so, what would the substitutions be?

  2) Shade or no Shade?  I've seen this arguement being tossed around in many other posts.  Is he worth the slots if Pernicious Deed is in the deck?

  3) If very iffy on the Edicts, Naturalize and the Mana Base.  Any thoughts or suggestions?

Don't worry about the sideboard and my lack thereof.  I haven't quite hit the tournaments again to scope out the competition so I'm not concerned TOO much about my sideboard.

Thanx in advance for all your input and ideas.
