Hi all, I've been lurking around for a month or so. It's verying interesting to read about all the different T1 deck types and tourny reports.

Anyway I've got all excited over Future sight and thought I could redo my very old counter burn deck. Here's the list.

Counterburn (60)

Non-instant (5)
2 Future Sight 2UUU
3 Powder Keg 2

Instants
Blue (15)
1 Fact or Fiction 3U
1 Stroke of Genius X2U
1 Ancestral Recall U

4 Mana Drain  UU
4 Force of Will 0 / 3UU
2 Misdirection  0 / 3UU
4 Accumulated Knowledge 1U

Red (6)
4 Lightning Bolt R
2 Incinerate  1R

Split (2)
2 Fire/Ice 1R/1U

Other / Mana (8)
4 Mishra's Factory
2 Wasteland
1 Stripmine
1 Library of Alexandria

Mana (22)
1 Sol Ring
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Saphire
4 Volcanic Island
4 Shivan Reef
2 City of Brass
8 Island

Undecided thoughts:
2 Cunning Wish for FoF & SoG so I get them plus stuff like  Hoodwink, Capsize, Volcanic Geyser, instant artifact nukes etc

Do I need Timetwister ? It's not an instant but can I do 20 damage in just 60 cards?

I'm just wondering... do you not like ophidians?  U/r seems to love them... where are they?

Taking a look at your mana curve, it looks like Mana Drain is not optimal here, either.  I would also recommend adding Ophidians, because you need a better draw engine than AK.  A couple Morphlings would not be a bad idea, either, but then you've already moved so far toward U/R phid, that you might as well go all the way.

Future sight seems like a gimmick here, and I don't think I'd use it without 5 Moxen and/or some fetch lands like Flooded Strand.  But, IMO, this deck doesn't really want fetchlands, either, because it makes you SO vulnerable to Wasteland cutting off your red.
