I thought this would be an awesome concept.

Libraries of Alexandria

Card that makes the deck work:
1 Library of Alexandria

They built more than one:
3 Lifespark Spellbomb
3 Animate Land
4 Clone

Not only are there more than one, they're on the attack as well:
3 Coat of Arms

They're defended, though:
3 Sacred Ground
4 Force of Will
3 Swords to Plowshares

Seven is the magic number:
1 Ancestral Recall
4 Accumulated Knowledge
3 Isochron Scepter

Excavations for the (non)legendary place:
1 Crop Rotation
3 Sylvan Scrying

Fuel:
4 Savannah
4 Tundra
4 Tropical Island
2 Flooded Strand
2 Windswept Heath
1 Plains
1 Island
1 Forest

I thought it would be so cool to have multiple Libraries in play, but they'd all be on your side of the field.

Animating it and then Cloning it is the idea, and after the Library has been duplicated a couple of times / you have an Animate on a Scepter (and you've got a Sacred Ground for defense), drop a Coat or two and lay down the beats with the best land(s) in the game.

I know the list is horrendous, but wouldn't this be awesome?

Thoughts?

Would be a blast to have a ton of libraries!

You could also turn them to artifacts instead of creatures to copy them.  I'm thinking:

1 Library of Alexandria
4 Copy Artifact
4 Sculpting Steel
4 Myr Landshaper
2 Mycosynth Lattice

4 Shrapnel Blast
3 Isochron Scepter

3 Skull of Orm
3 Argivian Archiologist

Tutors/lands/power/etc. to taste

Wow...I don't even know what to say...WOW!

.....uh okay I'm out of my trance. Hm...Does Doppleganger not suffice as well as clone?? I really don't know...

It's expensive, and you'll probably say no way, but I'm a green player and I would love to see less land and a nice Abundance, maybe a foil german one, Rob Wink

Windfall would be fun with AKs too.

As for making them artifacts, I think art is kinda more weak than land, theyre both pretty riddable, but art is more easily riddable than land. Although there are plenty more card that make things into art than into creatures/lands. idk...I'm just a green mage and Sligh player. Rolling Eyes

Peace Cool

Remember Sacred Ground protects them from artifact removal too (but not red creature removal).

8th Edition changed the rules on animated cards like this - they will not have a creature type, so ditch the Coat of Arms. Other than that, it looks pretty funny, but I don't think I could resist the impulse to play Incoming! in the artifact version.
