WNC Magic Players

As far as I know, there has never been a Type 1 tournament in or around Asheville, NC. In fact I am not aquainted with any other serious Type 1 players in or around this city. I am, however, looking to form a group of players who want to play and test, and drive to other tournaments in other states, and eventually get enough interest here to convince either Jeremy or Alex (the two owners of the only two real MtG stores here) to begin hosting tournaments for this best of formats. Specifically, I want to find people to play with for the long term, but if there is anyone who is going to Newington that lives close to here, please let me know! I am serious about forming a Type 1 group here and would like to know if there is anyone who is thinking similar thoughts.
