Hi, have anyone been tweaking with Trash for Treasure? Either for casual play, standard or block, or extended (with the great addition of Goblin Welders).

This is just a decklist I made up now in a couple of minutes:

Standard
----------

4 Thirst for Knowledge
4 Trash for Treasure
4 Fabricate
4 Thoughtcast
4 Assert Authority
4 Mana Leak
1 Rush of Knowledge

3 Lightning Greaves
3 Platinum Angel
2 Bosh, Iron Golem
2 Pentavus
1 Mindslaver

4 Chrome Mox
4 Talisman of Progress
4 Seat of the Synod
4 Great Furnace
4 Darksteel Citadel
4 Glimmervoid

No one seems to be responding so I'm posting a decklist that has been given a lot more thought than the last one:

4 Thirst for Knowledge
4 Thoughtcast
4 Read the Runes
2 Fabricate

4 Trash for Treasure
3 Lightning Greaves

3 Platinum Angel
2 Bosh, Iron Golem
2 Pentavus

4 Solemn Simulacrum
4 Bottle Gnomes

4 Great Furnace
4 Seat of the Synod
3 Chrome Mox
4 Talisman of Progress
3 Mountain
4 Island
2 Glimmervoid

Come on! Give me some response here!

Gilded Lotus is fun to chuck to Thirst For Knowledge, and then Trash For Treasure out of the 'yard.

Also, I've seen people dump Duplicant, and then Trash (or Welder) it out as a good way to remove your opponent's creatures.

Since I play Standard right now I only got 4 "welds", Trash for Treasure, and thus I don't want to spare any of them for just mana, Gilded Lotus. As for Duplicant it would be great as removal over and over again, but it's the same thing there - it would be great with Welders, not so great with Trash...
