You've probably already seen my list in the report with the T 8 but here it is anyway for refrence:

4 Standstill
4 Mana Drain
4 Force of Will
3 Mana Leak
3 Misdirection
3 Stifle
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
2 Decree of Justice
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Nevriynal's Disk
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Black Lotus
2 Flooded Strand
1 Plains
2 Islands
4 Tundra
4 Mishra's Factory
4 Faerie Conclave
1 Library of Alexandria
1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
1 Petrified Field
SB:
2 Serenity
3 Tormod's Crypt
2 Disenchant
3 Maze of ith
3 Annul
1 Moat

Not much went on before the tourny.  Talked with Kerz and some other peopple for a while, thats about it.  I put landstil together the week before.  I think its very solid in the current meta, and can hate out slaver well.  Well, onto the report.

Round 1: Aaron Kerzner with control slaver
Game 1: I play first.  I play conclave.  He plays LOA, taps it, plays a ruby.  I dont see ANY card draw, and ANY wastelands.  He just rides loa the whole match, and it comes down to me with 2 cards in hand while he has 8.
In: 3 annul, 1 serenity, 2 disenchant, 1 cursed totem
Game 2: I play first.  Play a land, go. He plays a volc.  I play a standstil next turn, he REBS, I force.  He breaks the standstill.  I draw into another standstill. I have annul and disenchant in hand.  He tinkers, slaves me.  He doesn’t get too much out of it, but wastes my factory and something little. Later in the game, I have 3 cards.  He demonic tutors for lotus.  Lotus sacks for Will.  I force. Next turn he cast blood moon, I annul it.  I just beat him down after that
Game 3: This game was pretty tight.  I had 4 1/1’s from decree on the board and some man lands.  He drops pentavus.  I drop standstill.  He breaks it on his turn.  I draw into disenchant, cursed totem, and something else.  I annul whatever he casts.  I think drop cursed totem, shutting down his Pentavus.  It was one of those cards that the opponent has to read.  He makes 4 1/1’s in response.  I disenchant his next threat, and he had to chump block my man lands and 1/1’s, but dies soon after.
1-0
Round 2: Chris Ahern with Enchantress
Game 1:  I know what he is playing, so I keep.  I go lotus land, disk. He goes emerald plains seal of cleansing.  Go figure.  He takes out my disk.  I disk away his board, cast decree for three 4/4 flyers after draining a replenish I Believe. I beat him down.  He is at 4, and I have a factory on the board and 3 4/4 flyers, and only one card can save him.  Of course he draw balance, so he balances them away.  So I just have to swing with my factory for 2 turns.  Then AGAIN he top decks squirrels nest to start making chump blockers.  Luckily misdirection says otherwise.
In: 3 annuls, 2 serenity, 2 disenchant
Game 2: Disk annihilates his board.  I savagely beat him down this game.  He tries to cast damping matrix but I counter it.  He drops an early choke.  My conclaves eat through that.  I am able to drain his next threat then cast disk.
2-0
Round 3:  Yushuo Low with tubbies deck.  He is the one who split for 1st
Game 1: He gets an early chalice for 1.  I drop standstill later. Drain some threats, drop disk and he cannot recover.  It blew up his whole world.
In: 3 annul, 2 disenchant, 3 maze of ith, 1 moat
Game 2: He casts an early arcbound crusher.  He plays chalice for 1, I plow it in response.  He doesn’t have the mana to play any fatties, so beats me down with mishra’s factories.  After a few turns of beat down I drop the moat.  He has no fliers and no way to deal with it.
3-0
Round 4: Eric Dupuis with control slaver.
We ID.
Round 5: Nicholas Cuenca with control slaver
We ID as well.
Top 8:
Matt chamberlain with combo slaver
Game 1: Landsttill goes extreme aggro.  I drain his gilded lotus.  I cycle decree for 6 guys.  He dies in about 3 turns.
In: 3 annul, 2 disenchant, 2 serenity, 1 cursed totem
Game 2: He gets a slaver off on me, while I have a disk on the board.  I have been taking pentavus beats for the last couple turns, and I am at 7. He slaves me, drops another disk onto the board. Tries to slaver me again, but I stifle. He goes, swings, I go to 3.  My turn I disk away my two disks.  Drop standstill, he rebs,  Drop cursed totem, he forces.  I am not worried though, I have annul and disenchant.  I win this one.
Top 4: Pat Broderick with Hulk
Game 1: I mull to 6.  Get a 1st turn standstill. He breaks it with duress then duresses me again, I draw into 3 land.  I don’t draw crap, he deals with my disk too.  I have 3 plows sitting in hand the whole game with no white mana, while his tog sits on the board for many turns.   I loose this one.
In: 3 maze of ith,  3 tormod’s crypt 1 cursed totem
Game 2: He duresses me twice taking cursed totem and stifle. This game was ridiculous.  I got him to two life and he has tog on board whuile I have 4 1/1’s, and man lands, and even a maze of ith.  He swings (tapped out besides maze).  Knowing I have him next turn.  I don’t maze, then he asks if I can respond to pumping and I tell him yes.   He time walks.  He gets his 1 wasteland.  Ugh, I wasn’t happy with these losses.  The deck didn’t perform as well as earlier in the day, and he had some serious top decking of yawgmoth’s will.
Chet with u/r fish concedes to me, so I get 3rd.  He didn’t want to play it out, it being late and all.  I understand the head ache of playing in a match where your opponent runs standstill too.  Though I think the match up would have been in my favor, but he’s a nice guy.

It was a pretty good tourney.  As with my list, I am pretty happy with it.  Annul was nothing but AWESOME.  I brought it in every match except hulk.  As usual mis-d’s were only ok.  I sided them out every match for better cards.  The moat did it’s job when it needed to.

Props:
John C being a hilarious guy
Aaron and Matrix coming up.  Everyone else too who traveled
The prize structure for not changing, even with less than 30 people
Chet being cool and conceding for the city of brass

Slops:
John ordering us mozzarella sticks, not knowing the difference between them and garlic bread.
Enchantress for top decking ridiculous
Hulk
So few people showing up.  Why?  It is a well run tourney, with free pizza, and a good metagame.  People used to show up, but now we have 20 people instead of 30.  NO NEED not to go, except for the next one because Pat scheduled it the same day of Waterbury and says “ I scheduled mine first so I am not going to change it.” I laugh, and explain to him how no body is going to show up.

Nice job on the third place finish.  I'm glad to see UW catching on and making Top 8 Finishes.

Question:  How was Maze of Ith in the board?  Did you prefer that over Moat?

First game, I stupidly ran into mana drain. =( Then disk blew up my world.

Second game, I wanted to chalice for 4 (Moat and Disk) but oh well I was afraid of drain.  But somehow I decided to cast a Triskelion!  (and walk into a drain..... what was I thinking!  Hey let's not cast 8 mana chalice but a 7 mana Triskelion cause it makes it so much less appealing to drain...)

I wanted to kill him next turn instead of two turns he was at 7 life I believe.  Which was totally uneccesary.

He then beat me down from 22 life to 0 with Flying Conclaves.
I was one turn away from Platinum Angel + Greaves but he time walked! (Boo Hoo Hoo.)

I must admit I was horribly scarred by the moat.  I was pretty sick with allergies too and the moat was just surreal...

Hey, that was such a morbid game for slaver in the top eight for me. I can't believe Hulk drew that one Wasteland though.  John is hilarious- even though he went nazi on me at the ninety-nine. Good job on the high finish, and good luck with U/W Landstill, I really think it is a neat deck. I like the tubbies deck too, it looks like a solid. With hate for control (tubbies-threats) combo (Sphere of Resistance, Trinisphere) and aggro (get bigger fat). True thing on the people not showing up, on the next months NO ONE will be there, why does Pat pwn himself by putting tournament dates the same as Waturbury. Good plan.

I think I like one moat.  With the double white, it usually is kind of hard to cast right away.  I think 3 maze and 1 moat is the best way to go, obv maze is an uncounterable way to stop creatures, but with  moats CC i think it is best at a 1 of
