Thanks for checking this topic.

If you can help me with my decklist, please let me know.

I play Tendrils now for about 5 month's. And I must say that it's realy amusing to play with this deck. It worked very well, untill Chrome Mox became restricted. I used to play three of them in my deck. Now it feels like the deck is still missing the other two Chrome Moxes. It sounds really weird, because it has to work well without the the other two chrome moxes.

I will post my decklist here below. And hopefully you'll have some interesting opinions about this deck.

R Ancestral Recall
R Timetwister

If you want to hear about tendrils from a pro, go here:

http://www.themanadrain.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15006

First off, I would like to point out that your manabase seems really unstable. The fetches are unnecessary, and probably end up hurting you as you need access to more than two colors right away. I suggest gemstone and city of brass. Some people like to go with another two glimmervoids, but you could use two undergrounds and not have too much trouble. Also, academy can give a strong boost to the mana. In place of the chrome moxes, I would suggest testing ESG, it has been used for a long time in 10 land stompy, and here we have 11 land storm combo. It is also unrestricted. Crop rotation and fastbond have also seen some popularity recently, which hasn't been the case since academy was good. The ESG's though are like lotus petals, and I think fastbond is better than mox diamond with low land and lots of draw.

There are some cards in your maindeck which seem suboptimal. The hurkyl's + grim monolith, and the second tendrils should be a burning wish. Some testing has been done with three copies of Diminishing returns, with a fourth in the side, and with only two win conditions in the deck it would seem dangerous, but apparently works really well. That may be support of academy, which further supports fastbond and crop rotation. One copy of Returns was used in the side for Long.dec before LED and Burning Wish were canned, along with another of tendrils, artifact kill like primitive justice, and Will. Having the wish makes the deck more flexible. Another tutor option is Death Wish, a card I am more skeptical about but which also has been tested with positive results.

Putting in the FoW and trying to keep the mana sources under 30 will probably squeeze out the spheres, so keep that in mind.

Thanks for your reply.

I've been thinking of what you said.
And now I see that this deck needs an upgrade.
The link you gave me to steve's deck was really helpfull. I've been testing with this deck for an hour and I must say that it works very, very well.

Thanks again, and I'll keep testing this new version.
