Well I go to a weekly tournament for T1 at Wiser's Wide World of Collectables. It's located in Fort Langley though, close to the Collosus theatre. I can get you information like the phone number if you are interested. The prizes are stupid though (points you can use to buy things out of the cabinet).

If interested, give me a PM or reply here

Hope this helps!

yes i would like the info cause i will be in vancouver for 4 months and i dont want my cards to just sit there and do nothing so i guess trying to win a few tournys there will be good practice for when i get back here for all the mox tournys and such. Is there any good players with decent type 1 cards there to play against.
                    thank you

No one has any power here. Its really more of a casual environment. I'll try to find you the information tomorrow.

Johnny's wax pax, Mishras game factory, and sometimes The Comic Shop and UBC, have players and turnys, not usually T1 but phone around.  I hope you play T2 cause the prices for singles in vancouver are some of the cheapest in the world (esp since there in CAN dollars). anyway it really depends on where you live and if you have a car.

As for the T1 crowd in Van well it um really doesnt exist, all the guys who have power usually only play casually/multiplayer since there really isnt a t1 scene out there and they are all mostly older (25+) and dont go to card shops to play (there are obviously exceptions, but rare) I think when i moved out of Van 1/5th of the power in the city left with me =)

there are lots of t1 cards to be had if you search hard enuff, try to find a card dealer named Daren he has more old stuff than anyone in the city, he usually has a table at the pre-releases, and i think he has a store somewhere too. Some times american dealers from seattle come up for PTQ's and a few of them have old stuff too.

good luck
