I think the reason I love fish is because it is very consistent.  It has great card drawing.  It carries the counters and stifles needed.  Even though its creatures are weak they provide what is needed and no more.  It also is great against 2 of the top decks in the metagame, SLaver and Hulk.

By the way i think stifle is underestimated.  I run 3 in my fish and 1 in sideboard.  stifle can be handy in any matchup.

thats my 2cents.  Wink

Rico, thanks! The pleasure is all mine : )

Justin, you played in the last Columbus tourney, right? I'm Doug, we faced each other down twice. I played Landstill that day. Hope you'll be at the GP T1 tourney this weekend!

Stifles are also just what Fish and Landstill need. When your win condition rides on land, you need something to stop the wastelands. In the mirror match, the person who sees their Stifles first wins the game, even in Gay/R vs. Landstill matches.
