Last week's "all numbers, all the time" article elicited two requests for data, which was perfect, because this was my week of crazy midterms, so I needed material. The first request, from Rudy van Soest a.k.a. "MoreFling" (the man whose alias is responsible for more people not finding morphling.de than any other), was that I take my assorted collection of data and find some trends. The second was from JP Meyer a.k.a. "Homsar," who said, "My loins are quivering in anticipation. I love the set breakdowns, but you know what I love more? When you list what cards appear the most per set."

I aim to please, so I did both.

Men do their own laundry. REAL men do Magi's laundy as well.

Doctor: fanstatic article once again. I love the fact that you extrapolated a list from the data this time round (I know I can do my own thinking like I said last time, but it never hurts to have someone do it for you Smile). I'm definitely gonna try out 'Consensus Keeper' for a bit, just for the heck ot it. It might actually be good because it doesn't suffer as much from the 'I have 2 Hulk decklists and only one of them plays AK so I've combined a consensus Hulk list with 2 copies'-syndrome.

Nice n, too. Must've been a lot of work. The comments were hilarious at times, too. Keep up the statistics!

You don't? Even I've finally started, though I managed to put it off until age seventeen.

Nice n, too. Must've been a lot of work.

Ironically at the start of midterm week I thought I was going to be doing something really simple. Then when I was done with my tests on Thursday, I did this for fun for the rest of the day as a reward for myself. I think that really sums up my life in so many ways that I'm glad my mother doesn't read TMD. ("I told u i wuz hardk0re!!")

I was hoping that Consensus Keeper would have 26 mana when I was finally compiling it, but I would speculate that mana options are simply more likely to be chosen than a given spell, because there are only a small number of viable choices, so more of the most-used cards will be mana. If there had been one more maindeck slot, for instance, it would've been the fifth blue fetchland. But if I had averaged the number of slots that should be mana (which might've made a more solid deck, there was a second Scrying and a second Scepter near the top at the end IIRC), it would've almost certainly been 26.

Oh man I can't wait to do this for Hulk. That's gonna take forever, but it'll be less scattered, so more solid, data-wise.

They felt fine. Not "fine-like-kl0wn's-secret-supply-of-Malaysians", more like "decent". However, if I suddenly stop posting for a while, it's because my parents killed me. ;)

Oh, and speaking of avatars, I still instantly assume that whenever I see that basic user with my old Hideki avatar that I posted something there and get mad confused.  h8.

So, exactly how long will it take for you to come back to life? Or are you planning to get an intarweb connection on hell?

<3. Great job you did there, in your article. You make baby rasko cry. Wink , even though I stopped playing it was a nice, informative read.
