Hello everyone,

I was wondering if i posted a decklist that needed playtesting if anyone would be interesting in doing it.  I would but lack power plus workshops/drains/bazaars and some other cards to make my potenial decks and the gauntlet it would be facing.  Also i have no one in my area that really is a vintage player or even that serious, extremely casual.  Thank you.

You could try playtesting online. Or you could use proxies. I'd go with proxies, because you'd be doing 2 good things. Testing your deck, and getting someone else interested in Type 1.

If you face such a unique metagame you should really playtest with other people exposed to it.
If you're testing with somebody who is, for instance,  facing a highly competitive metage it is not optimal for both parties. Testing would be quitee meaningless because you're not going to see the decks you tested against in your actual tournies.

I think, "online playtesting" is the best solution.

I have the same problem with finding other serious Type 1 player in my neighbourhodd, so online playtesting was the last posibility to play a high niveau game...

Try to make friends somewhere around here and I'm sure you'll get one of the best MTG player's Wink

Play online.  That will be far more effective for teaching you what needs to be done with the deck to make it better.

If you have locals to test against with proxies, then that helps alot as well.  I do learn alot more playtesting in real life than I ever do on appr or MWS.

apprentice or Magic Work Station will allow you to connect to other players online.

Apprentice is preferred by many and can be found here:  http://www.e-league.com/forums/portal.php
