When ~this~'s cumulative upkeep isn't paid, draw cards equal to its last paid cumulative upkeep.
I always liked Heart of Bogardan, but as this is is somewhat less powerful and still very expensive, I lowered the cost. Paying UU+2 draws two cards...two turns down the road. UU+2+4 draws four cards in three turns for 8 mana. In fact as I write this, it seems very very weak even so. Maybe I should lower the cost even more?

It's like that Unicorn.
1 would definitely be fine. Another option would be to give it some usefulness while it's in play, for example, by making it a creature (like the aforementioned unicorn).

I thought it was one card per upkeep paid. Is it actually one card per mana in the upkeep paid? (like if you pay the first upkeep you get 2 cards, the second gets you 4...) The card could be confusing as worded, I mean I was confused. I think lowering the CU to 1 would eliminate confusion. |

While you're ofcourse entitled to your opinion, your post is against the spirit of this forum. Someone submits a card, and you either criticize its wording or effect for some fundamental reason other than you not liking it, or you forget about it and move on to the next card.
You don't have to post here, you know.

Even at , it can't be usefully played first turn without something to ensure you'll have at least two mana during your next turn's upkeep. I mean, I think this card is seriously underpowered (but not uninteresting!) no matter how you look at it. |
