Limbonic Visitant
5BBB
Creature - Horror
Whenever ~this~ comes into play, if you didn't play it from your hand, until end of game, if you would draw a card, instead, you dont.
Whenever ~this~ deals combat damage to a player, until end of game, if that player would draw a card, instead, they don't.
Fear.
1/1

This is a really scary extraplanar nightmare-type guy. If he manages to get close enough to someone, he basically drives them insane with fear. Also, if you didn't go through the right kind of rites to summon his services, then you're his target.

I am certain that the ability could be worded better as there are way too many commas in there. Someone help me out there?

Well this is horribly overpriced. This actually cosst more than Phage, and Phage had a stronger effect AND was a 4/4.

Also, can you start using "current wording" posts? Your cards are often very hard to figure out.

I always have current wordings on my posts, built into the original post. This hadn't changed from the original and I don't see the need for the exact same card listed twice.

I didn't realise phage was cheaper, I'll knock this down a bit. Gotta be careful though since obviously this is ridiculously powerful.

I still need a decent wording for the ability.

Since this is a 1/1, why not lowering the casing cost to say, BBBB, and add "if ~this~ would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into owners library instead."

This would make this card far more balanced, since it wouldn't be possible to animate it from the grave, the exact use where I would think it would be used a lot. Just because of the drawback, which can be stifled (?), MBC would probably find a way around it, or using Search spells instead, like impulse. A few discard effects, followed up by this and you practicly won the game.

And since it is the ultimate cardcontrol card ever, since you can't later on change the effect, it fits the black theme so perfectly, why not make it entirely unsplashable. BBBB, say it out loud, blackblackblackblack. I would find it flavorful with such a casting cost.

At BBBB I think it would be too good in those mono black aggro decks that always seem to be around.

It seems to be costed decently now. Just need some help with wordings for the ability.

I think under the current wording, the "cursage" is permanent, even if this guy dies.  There ought to be some way of dealing with this thing other than removing it before it can hit you.  Maybe if it gets killed, it could be removed from the game and the "curse" would go away.

By the way, you could probably word it something like this:

When ~this~ comes into play, if you didn't play it from your hand, until end of game, if you would draw a card, skip that draw instead.
When ~this~ deals combat damage to a player, until end of game, if that player would draw a card, he or she skips that draw instead.

Another thing you could do is to take out "until end of game" and put in parenthesis "This effect does not end at end of turn" or something.

Alternative wording:

When ~this~ comes into play, if you didn't play it from your hand, whenever you would draw a card, skip that draw instead.
When ~this~ deals combat damage to a player, whenever that player would draw a card, he or she skips that draw instead.

If you wish for the "curse" to go away upon death, add this after the "draw a card" parts:

and ~this~ is in play

The effect is supposed to be permanant once it hits you, remove it from the game or not.

And sneak attacking it still requires stifle like phage does, otherwise you're as stuffed as they are (unless they bolt/swords/whatever).

But when you mask it, they won't block it with an Ornithopter, since they will fear that it is a Dreadnought! And then you've tricked them good!

~this~ should be replaced with the actual card name, now that we have one.

The "until end of game" text is unnecessary.

Yes. For example, Stalking Stones.
