Only getting half the decklists is uber-stressful. How can I start giving tantalizing statistical snippets to people without all the decklists?!

Also, that "Wallamies" is weird. It took me like a minute of staring at it to see the Morphling.

Don't worry, Bramikins, it's not nearly as close to Kenny Logins' favorite Zone as Mana Drain is. (49 Workshops vs. 77 Mana Drain, before this weekend.)

Yes, 24 Workshops in the Top8 (more precisely 23 because one TNT had only 3). I don't think the card is really broken though, obviously

The guy playing Modular asked me to keep his decklist secret. All I can say is that he was playing with Workshops, maindeck being UB with RG and W cards in the sideboard (4 Glimmervoids and 4 Cities).

The "Wallamies" deck is adapted from an old extended deck designed by Wallamies. Olivier Ruel, the guy who was piloting it, is a strong french player, with multiple Pro Tours appareances. The deck is not that great, but skills help a lot ...

Presumably, the most competitive locals already saw it. He already got whatever the second place prize is. In all likelihood, the list will be different before the next tournament (even if he plays the same archetype!), so metagaming against him would be silly (and it looks like there's more than enough artifacts in your meta anyway). In fact, it has just as much benefit making the most aware opponents think they know what he's playing if he just switches to another powerful deck for next time. So I find no detectable reason for secrecy, seeing as his tech clearly wasn't that amazing--he didn't win. Additionally, if his list is published with flashy lights around the edges, he will not only escape eternal damnation, but will also have the happy knowledge that he has a pioneering list in a new archetype, which will obviously earn him endless supplies of sex from Magic groupies.

Well, I don't know how many tournaments you have been to recently, but in a field of 68, getting second isn't all that bad.  Your pessimism is gross.  Saying "...clearly wasn't that amazing--he didn't win" just seems way off to me, especially on a continent where ratings are important.

Second, I find it hard to believe that the other 67 contestants are going to alter their sideboarding techniques because a one-of deck placed well here.
