Since AOL users will be banned from TMD in 2 weeks, and I use CompuServe (a subset of AOL), I will probably be banned from here as well. So I guess this is probably my final card. does that mean that this is too good? It means that it's just really weird and random (well, typical for your cards I guess, but ok  ), and that it's really bad, until someone finds a way to abuse the hell out of it. |

well, for a second there, Tog would be really crazy w/ it, but I got that problem fixed.
I don't want my (possible) last card turning into a crap rare, however, so maybe we should try to make this better if it sucks...

For one, you didn't give the card the entire three days you were supposed to give it. As far as discussion, the effect is so big and the cost of the card so high, that it's difficult to assess the power level represented here. To be truthful, I haven't commented because the card is too big for me to really wrap my head around. If you want my opinion, I think it's too strong. Without the alternate casting cost, this is only {U} more than Upheaval, which would do the same thing, but leave you with a clear table, aside from your own 3/3 creature. With the alternate casting cost, you yield enormous card advantage to your opponent, but it doesn't really matter - all of his lands and other permanents are going to be returned to his hand. Chances are, you'll both be ditching stuff to the 'yard at the ends of your turns. |

It's just way too random. "Let's throw Upheaval and Mana Short onto a body and give it an acc..." is what springs to mind (even though it isn't truly Mana Short.) I can't even suggest anything to make it better, because there's just too much there. Is there a particular avenue you'd like to explore with this card? Putting Upheaval on a body just isn't very exciting. Sorry if this post seems disparaging.  |

Luckily, I have decided to just come to the library daily and post here, but once school lets out and I graduate, there is nothing I can do, because it is a family computer and the family likes CompuServe. Unless there is a change before the middle of June, I am gone.

I like the word 'semblance' but it should be incorporated into a larger name. Perhaps "Semblace of <something>" or "<adverb> Semblance"?
