Congratulations USA on beating the Czechs. Nobody wanted to place the Czechs on home turf and now nobody has to!!

Semis

USA vs. Sweden
Canada vs. Slovakia

Hopefully the Canadians are tired after that 5-4 overtime win over Finland, we sure made hard work of beating Switzerland.

I assume the tournament is getting a little media attention in the States now your team are doing well.

I just hope the Canadians remember that they won it last year and let us go through to the final!! Be kind Canada, you have Bebe, Alanis and er....Shania Twain, Slovakia just has lots of great looking women and hockey (even SCG don't ship Magic here now).

Edit: I just looked at the poll and amazingly 100% of people think that Slovakia are going to win it.

Remember though that Canada's greatest export is Summer Ice. We have already altered the consitency of the rink to give us an edge. Expect us to be good.

Canada won again. I suppose they have to put up with Avril and Alanis. Are all Canadian women angry and ugly?

Thanks to the American ref who thinks it is OK to hook a goalkeepers legs from under him in order to allow Canada to score a second goal.

No prizes for fourth Slovakia but there was a big party in Bratislava to welcome the players back late last night.

Given the choice of hot women or the Hockey World Championship I'd take the former, assuming my wife isn't looking.

I'm not bitter, I just thought Slovakia were rather unlucky. Clear foul on the goalie, etc, etc....

I am, however, still bitter about Jacob changing the past so that I am no longer the Type I World Champion and I now suck pretty badly. If it wasn't for TMD tournament forum, there would be no record of my win with Sligh. Luckily Jacob didn't think of changing that!!

Edit - me and my big mouth, the Type I World Championship has been changed and even my lovely Lotus picture has gone!!
