Chaotic Soothsayer 1R
Creature - Legend
If a spell or ability causes a value to be rounded up or down, you choose which way to round that value instead.
The most talented soothsayers are said to kill themselves if they meet another who has greater prophetic powers.

This card might be stretching it, since current rules text now has any information about rounding numbers as reminder text, but I thought I might give it a shot. I like the flavor of it, though.[/i]

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?

Thta's a cool replacement effect. I think it's also a good choice of color. Can't think of a better way to word this, either. I think everyone will understand how this works.

I like it a lot too. I wonder what Matt thinks of the wording. He's usually very sharp on things like this.

Looks like it'll work to me. I like this card, though I have to comment, it doesn't really feel 'chaotic' to make things go from forced to chosen.
I like that flavor text, too.

I like it, but does it need to be a Legend? Also, how useful is its ability? How often would it come up? With a spell like Pox, could you round up for your opponent and round down for yourself? Finally, would this be like Obstinate Familiar: a good foil/hate card that doesn't get played? Agree with Matt that "it doesn't really feel 'chaotic' to make things go from forced to chosen".

It has to be a legend, otherwise who would choose if more than one player had one out at the same time? 2. It says "Whenever", so that means you could round the way you wanted in all instances. 3. I don't know, but it seems kind of cool and interesting. 4. Name has been changed.
