Hi all,
these are the results of the tourney that take place yesterday morning here in Italy, with another "astonishing" result.
For the first time ( since at least 2 years of weekly leagues and tourneys ), 2!!!! Unpowered Decks Split in the finals, beating all the best decks in the field without Mercy!
these is the cliccable link with the resultsNot so many players showed up this time ( ~50 players, not sure about the precise number ), but the field seemed a lot competitive, filled with control decks and artifact decks, with a little flession of the usual number of combo and aggro decks.
this is the Top8 :
1) Dario De Palma (Unpowered-Bg-DARgon)2) Andrea Pasquali (Unpowered-Sligh)3) Simone Girgenti (4C-HulkSmash)4) David Besso (WelderMUD)5) Maurizio D'isanto (Keeper)6) Ruggero Moroni (Monobrown-Stacker)7) Giorgio Riccò (3Color-TPS)8) Rocco Palumbo [ 4C-HulkSmash. ( Filippo Grigatti's List ) ]
The Dragon build is the same that won the last month in Genova and it is pyloted by the same player.
The Sligh build seemed to me perfectly metagamized for a Control-Artifact Field and it has bombs agaisnt them preside and post side. I didn't know the player, but I think that his high winning rate isn't due Only to luck at all ( talking with other players they referred to me about is good build and his good skills )
If you click the link it is possible to see the Top8 path of those 2 decks.
DArgon smashed Hulk, WelderMUD and finally Sligh while the Sligh himself killed TPS and Hulk.
This are instead the final standings after the last swiss' round.
1) Keeper
2) Stacker-Monobrown
3) 3C-TPS
4) DARgon
5) 4C-HulkSmash
6) Sligh
7) 4C-HulkSmash
