JP: Did you run any interesting cards?

Matt: I ran the transformational sideboard of Oath of Druids and Darksteel Colossus. I also have three maindeck Annul because I expected lots of artifacts. It was golden all day. I used it a lot even against 4-Color Control as like a one-mana Sinkhole against their turn 1 Moxes.

Four out of Eight in the t8 ran 4 standstill.

How long can we pretend this card is terrible? It's obviously strong.

The card is excellent in Fish, Fearies, Landstill.

Standstill is terrible in decks that do not run lotsa strips and manlands.

As I recall PTW spent a fair portion of game 3 in the semi's with only a cloud of fairies in play waiting for Mike to break his standstill with total brokenness in his hand.  I could be totally remembering this wrong though.

Can we now stop pretending that Fish isn't the most successful deck in the format?

It's pretty self explanatory.  Fish is the most successful deck in the american metagame but people keep being blind to it.

That doesn't match your first statement.  I think you forgot a word or two.

JP now its your time to bust out your UG madness and start to own those curious fishies!

I would so laugh if people start packing caltrops in their sideboard.....

Gotcha.

Okay, you have all the words, now put them in the right order!

People need to at least account for Fish while building decks--it's just as relevant a matchup as control or combo.

Actually, now that Tog is hated out and nobody is playing FCG anymore, that might be a good idea.
