I was wondering, as a community, why are the members of the EFNet chat so insecure?  Just because I say a few true things that someone doesn't like I get banned?  I was wondering why the insecurity of the chat is at such a high level?

Isn't the chat supposed to represent the community?  If so, I believe that it should be something other than "I don't like him, he threatens me, hey jeek can you ban this guy?".  Clearly if a mod goes about banning people simply by what a threatened individual such as OftenLost says is not the way to run a chat.  Can anyone clue me in as to why this is accepted behavior?

What sort of true things were you saying and how did you phrase them? I can't really offer comentary on the justice of the channel unless I've got solid evidence (a mentat requires data.) In fact, a chat log would be ideal. Not that I can really do anything to help you, except maybe lodge a complaint, if I agree that you've been wronged.

Also, keep in mind that the channel unbans people after...24 hours, I think. So if you were being rude about your utterance of the truth, just cool your jets a little and you should get in tomorrow night, no problem.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

No- I was witness to this guy's ranting and whatnot. He definitely, under #tmd standards, deserved to be banned 10 times over.
