Seeing Azhrei post tonight, for whatever reason, reminded my brain that I sent him fanmail soooooooo long ago for his
SCG articles (which I'd bet many of you didn't even know existed!). The original email is long since lost, but it involved me mentioning I was trying to come up with something worthwhile to write about, and got the following reply.

Hah! I made something of myself after all! And contrary to his lies in the email, Azh hasn't written since almost three months before I emailed him (I think I found his archive when I finished reading Rakso's). I am endlessly amused by this, and felt that the community needed more opportunities to be nostalgic about its retirees, so here we are.
