I was randomly bored but I had a wierd idea that could be both fun and beneficial to the site.

Since the majority of players will be at Gencon, Ill bring a BRAND NEW playmat for everyone to sign, and then I will auction it off on EBAY.  The money that we get can be puts towards fueling the site FOREVER.

Like each person that signs it could write something cool/inspirational to draw people to bid on the playmat.  It would be cool because all the Americans and Europeans would be there to sign it. (At least the majority.)

AND if this is a great sucess, we can continue to do it every year at Gencon.  Hell it might even become a collector's item.  Razz

But who's going to pay for a bunch of random signatures? Playmats that sell for $$$ tend to have interesting original artwork from artists.

You could also work as a team to badger artists into doing stuff with it Smile

hmm, perhaps if you also got some common Type 1 staples such as Brainstorms, Duress, Fetches, etc.  Have them signed by a bunch of 'Drainers.    Even better, have commons that made it into the big event's Top8 signed and auctioned off.  *shrug*
