I'll be there.  It's kinda on my way home from Pittsfield.

Two SWEET tournaments in the same weekend=tech.  Everybody should hit up the Dual Mox Saturday and then head down to Somers for the Lotus on Sunday.  It's like one 10-12 rnd two day event.  I love the North East this summer. Very Happy

What does it cost?

What will happen if only five people show up?

Just a Q n D report for those who are interested...

T8 played out like:

GAT (Eastman)
>
4cc (Samite healer)

Madness+Crucible
>
?

Storm Combo (Matrix)
>
Gay-R

4040 (partyonwayne410)
>
GATr (GI)

T4:

4040
>
Storm Combo

Madness
>
GAT

split in finals.

My day was:

Rnd 1, ChrisK playing Staff/Worker combo
G1, I drain titan into dryad and brokenesss
G2, I don't drain titan, it eats me
G3, I don't play pro-actively, and we draw

Rnd 2, partyonwayne410 playing 4040
G1, Crucible owned
G2, Trinisphere owned

Rnd 3, sum gi playing Urw landstill
G1, I bait with bad cards like ancestral recall, big yawgwill for the win
G2, see game 1

Rnd 4, sum gi playing control slaver
G1, after he slaves me i topdeck into ak for 4, ancestral, time walk yawgwilll...
G2, his welder sits idle.  he ftk's my dryad, but i draw lots of cards and win

Rnd 5, sum gi playing gay-R
G1, I can't race his flyers
G2, I my sb kills everything he plays dryads finish him fast
G3, i cunning wish for daze to stop his ancestral recall.  it went downhill for him from there.  If I have a child, I'm going to name him Daze.

Rnd 6, Iamfishman playing workshop slaver
G1, He locks me up with chalice for 2, and wins handily
G2, Deed cleans his board, and dryads finish him off
G3, my 2nd turn null rod keeps him off balance future sight allows me to win in the extra 5 turns

T8, partyonwayne410 playing 4040
G1, He does all sorts of broken workshop shit
G2, I think I have a good start, but I forget to Force his welder, making all his threats work, in spite of my null rod.

Overall it was a fun day even though I didn't really wake up until Rnd 3.  Coming back from 0-1-1 was fun too.  All of my losses on the day were to Workshop Prison, my worst matchup.  Hadley took 5 of the T8.  Life is good.

Am I not seeing something?  Who made it to the finals?  maybe you should use the [/code] function to explain the T8.  Its kind of confusing.

Someone told me there were 56 in attendance. That sounds about right.
Does that mean Dr. Sylvan counts it? If so I can provide my decklist. It wasn't optimal, included 2 maindeck oxidize and a few other late inclusions due to the perverse amount of artifacts in that room.

there was no final round. The two in the finals split and received $300 cash each. Each of the losers from the two semifinal rounds (myself and matrix) received $75 of that $300 as per a splitting arrangement decided before the top 4 began.
