In case people were too lazy too look them up, here they are with item codes:

Thursday
TCG00377 - 1pm - Type 1

Friday
TCG00378 - 11am - Type 1
TCG00395 - 10pm - $250 Type 1

Saturday
TCG00391 - 10AM - Type 1 World Championship
TCG00379 - 9PM - Type 1

Sunday
TCG00380 - 11AM - Type 1

In the past, only the $250 and Championship tournaments had Top 8, everything else was pure swiss.  The TO said something about trying to get top 8's, but they drag the events on longer, so I probably wouldn't count on that.

Bill

I believe there is also some sort of "Type 1 Creature Feature", but I don't know what that is and it's not real type 1, so I didn't include it.

I think I'll probably end up playing in the early tournament on Friday (Fun Deck day!), the Championship on Saturday, the tournament Saturday night if I don't do well in the Championship, and maybe the Sunday event.  Having the $250 tournament the night before the Championship is just assinine in my opinion.

Yeah, that things gonna run til like 4 or 5 AM at best.  Then you gotta go sleep for like 4-5 hours and get up and Play in the Championship?  Come on.  That's just poor organization.

I'm gonna be there on Thursday early so I'm gonna play in the Thursday event with something...Probably something silly cus no one's gonna be there yet.  I'm probably just gonna have fun Thursday and Friday morning and then go to the con floor Friday evening or play Broken Decks with some friends and just chill and get ready for the championship.  I'll probably play something serious Saturday night if I wash out of the Championship.

Hale

PS.  does ANYONE know what a T1 Creature Feature is?

I am using Thursday to actually see the Con, I didn't get a chance to see any of it last year...and I'm hoping to get some hold'em action in that day also.  Last year the $250 tournament was very poorly run...SliverKing and PTW are better sources of info on that since they split in the finals and are a testament to how long the event went.

Absolutely terrible.  Up to an hour between rounds.  I think it finally ended somewhere around 7am.  Did include some interesting moments between Marc's brother and a judge...

Mark's brother getting tossed for tripping up a judge was priceless

Shane forgot to mention that Marc's brother was asleep during this encounter.  Looked like an entire fight was going to break out while one of the combatants was asleep.

Of course he was asleep due to large quantities of beer....which made it that much better.
