Good times were had for the Jet. 57 people showed!!
My first round ended very quickly, fortunately. Since I was one of the first people done, I asked Jason if I could have the Round 1 pairings list. As soon as I had it I started scouting. At first I scouted everyone that I knew and had seen before. (read: dedicated Vintage players, not T2ers with 5 proxies) At round 4/6 I tried to finish off the list of everyone that was still there, thus hopefully eliminating most flack from my list.

The Report.
R1: Brad Ojala. U/R fish, but not fish.
G1: I out-tempo him, he has shamans but no mana, I drop mask and nought and win.
-Siding in: 4 BEB, siding out: 2 wish, 2 fabricate.
G2: Pretty much the same, except I don't have to use Wastelands because he is already mana screwed.
1-0, 2-0-0
R2: John Lawrence. White Weenies.
G1: He lotus' out 3 dudes first turn. Whoa! I mask in a nought next turn. he brings me to 5 before I trample over him.
-Siding in: 2 Hurkyl's Recall, siding out: 2 Wish.
G2: I start with a decent hand, he starts with plains, go. which tells me to wait and use the duresses in my hand. So I wait for the Sea, then duress, nailing disenchant. I drop a mask and 2 noughts for victory.
2-0, 4-0-0
R3: Aaron Doeden? Salvagers
In all honesty, my memory is blurry here. I played vs Salvager 3 times today. If I actually took notes this time, I'd have something. However, I do remember that I won.
3-0, 6-1-0
R4: Alan Koxlifn, Salvagers, (alan shat on me twice today, big frowns)
This match was close, very close. Alan ended up beating me 2-1 here.
I know that he brought in Exalted Angels from the side. (It was like I was playing vs my
Salvager/Angel deck posted in the Newbie forum, but better) He and my previous opponent both tinkered for big D.C. vs me too. I never once saw a AEther Spellbomb on the day, which could have been disasterous. Instead, I think their builds had 4 Pyrites. Anyway, I lost.
3-1, 7-3-0
R5: Nate Siftar, Smmenen Blue. Nate is a pretty good T2 player and his deck is fully powered today, so I expect a good game.
G1: I start first. I drop a first turn mask with force back up. Next turn I drop a Nought and thats game essentially.
-Siding in: Chalice, FoF, siding out: 2 Wish
G2: Nate goes mox, island. I drop island, mox, mox, crypt, chalice=2(leaked). Nate draws, drops a mox, (no land!), passes. I cast Razormane, Forced!. Nate drops a Keg. I cast a FoF. I think for a while with a Mystical in hand. He has a keg out and I Mystical for Tinker!. He doesn't blow the Keg! hmmm. I tinker out DC, it resolves!, I pass. Nate has 1 card left. His Gilded Drake is met with my own Force. That's game. Whew.
4-1, 9-3-0
R6: Chris Lunde, Draw 7
G1: He starts land, sphere, go. I waste his land. Next turn I force his Lotus, he passes. I go Lotus, Mask, Nought, Nought. =gg
-Siding in: Stifle, Consultation, Chalice, Hurkyl's Recall. Siding out: 2 Wish, 2 Scryings.
G2: I waste his city, duress his Demonic tutor and force his Mox Jet. At this point, he cant recover. I had the kill in hand.
5-1, 11-3-0
Quarters: Alan again with Salvagers.
G1: I start with first turn Lotus, Mask, Nought, Nought. that was fast.
Siding in: Chalice, Coffin Purge, Stifle, Control Magic! Siding out: 2 Wish, Masticore, 1 Fabricate.
G2: I believe he beat me with Angel beats, keeping my artifacts at bay with either swords or disenchants.
G3: Alan blows up my noughts, beats on me with Trinket Mages a bit, tutors/Tinkers up a Darksteel Colossus, beats me to 5 life. I cast control magic on DC. He topdecks a disenchant for the Contol and the win. Closest game ever.
In hindsight, short of playing a different deck, I don't think there is much I would change. If I were to radically change the deck, I would likely cut Mask/Nought for
Keeper elements and a pretty manabase. The biggest options maindeck are 2 Fabricate/2 Scryings and the Masticore. I expected to face Welder decks, so I wanted grave removal. Also I needed draw, so Scryings came back in MD after a week of testing of not being in there. Fabricates won me 2 games. They fetched for the 'other piece' of mask/nought a couple of times. Fabricates need more testing. They are very slow sorcery at 2U. Razormane could have been Platinum or Morphling.
Obligatory Props:
-Jon Tschida (frost) for letting me borrow Dreadnoughts.

-Jason, store owner for now requiring decklists for the t8 of the vintage tournaments as well as mailing them out to people on his vintage email list.
