QuiacatlShaman; 1GG
1G: Target Player Receives 1 Poison Counter And you lose 2 life; If You control ~Quiacatl Master~ and a Swamp, You lose no life
2/3

Something like that. Not entirely sure how it should go. but something of that sort.

I think this card may depend entirely on Quiacatl Master. With the way that green can generate mana, this could generate a lot of poison counters very quickly. Even with just a Wellwisher, this may as well be green "direct damage". I think that people underestimate poison counters because there's never been any real support for them in the past. If we create a set in which they're well-supported, then it is going to be important that we don't make effects that utilize them too well or they'll be degenerate.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

In that case, why not just make it tap to perform the effect. I wouldn't care if it were playable at the speed of an instant if it tapped. You probably want it to be able to do this ability and also attack, but I think that's gratuitous. Also, why is it a 2/3? Aren't shamans typically wizened elders - the sort of characters that are properly 1/1?

Now that I think about it, even if you make those changes, and definitely now, this card is much better and very similar to a card I already posted, Priest of Quiacatl.
