in the main deck

sigil is better in the mirror matchup as well as in the 4cc match up everything else fish can beat straight out

Fish needs a reliable draw engine, so Curiosity is better. Sigil is a dandy SB card though.

Definately curiosity. Leave the sigil to the board. Most of us around here tend to like drawing cards.

Do you realize that Curiosity is the deck's draw engine?

Sigil is a Sideboard Card.  It's not proper to maindeck it in Fish because it is a situational card. As mentioned previously, Curiosity is the draw engine. You don't want to lose it.

I have a new poll, that perhaps you could answer yourself.

Question: Which is better main deck in any Fish or control deck?

Possible Answers:
Answer A: A reliable draw engine that the deck relies on to function properly, draw lots of cards, and maintain its tempo advantage
Answer B: A mediocre enchantment that shines only in aggro matchups

If you chose 'Answer B,' you're probably a dipshit. If you chose 'Answer A,' then you've probably actually figured out that drawing cards in a control deck is good. Curiosity is a critical component of the deck, so please don't take it out.

This is right up on par with the 'Let's take Food Chain out of Food Chain Goblins' thread. Please close this thread now, thanks.

i haven't be play fish for long(about a week), but i here all this stuff about Curiosity being a draw engine but i found it weak in my very short experience.  In this short time though i won a lotus by siding it out almost every game

You also played a different deck.  But Curiosity is still the deck's draw engine.  A 1 mana personal howling mine is pretty good I hear.  If it is weak you are not playing it correctly.  It wins games.  Every creature in the deck has evasion or can ping and therefore will draw you a card every turn.  Multiples is sick.  2 net you card advantage=Ancestral Recall, and it is reusable.
