Just in case anyone missed this one. I found it in the MTG News partial spoiler.

Imi Statue
Artifact  {3}
Players may not untap more than one artifact during their untap step.

What are your thoughts on this?

Doubtfull. Its no different then Damping Field, which never sees play anyways. (mind you its 2w) and it is strictly inferior to Null Rod.

It's not strictly inferior to null rod because null rod doesn't stop Fish's face from getting smashed in by angry 5/3s and 7/10s. It's an asymetrical winter orb for decks that don't run artifact acceleration, which is good. The obvious problem being that it allows them to untap darksteel colossus and that the does not untap isn't a big deal without some way to tap them.

Imi Statue + Relic Barrier taps down all of their artifacts. As long as you're not running any other artifacts you want to untap, you continually untap Relic Barrier.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

I saw this card more as an anti-lock part, maybe as a sideboard card against Stax.  At the very least, it removes the disparity from their Tangle Wires.  At best, it takes out a lot of their mana.

You know I completely forgot about kill switch. Kinda funny because it could be extremely good in a workshop heavy metagame, and in many ways it's just superior to this. Oh well good point Bryce.

Not so sure about that. Affinity can still smash face with just 1 or 2 creatures and the card doesn't affact Cranial Plating.
Besides, how much hate can decks play with out losing to non-Affinity decks? People already board in 10 cards vs Affinity, and I don't think you can drop Oxidize or Viridian Shaman for this because the Affinity could just play artifact destruction and then run you over.
